Designidge is a dream to work with – he’s reliable, offers a very prompt turn-around and understands the style and feel of our programme and makes accessible and exciting flyers and leaflets, that we use to reach young people and key partners.
JENNY RIDING, THE LOWRY
The Lowry is a leading arts centre at Salford Quays, known for its theatre, visual arts, and community programmes. Its Engagement Team delivers creative projects that champion wellbeing, inclusion, and skills development for local young people.
The Engagement Team needed an engaging, easy-to-read flyer to promote two key youth initiatives — Get Involved and Lowry Young Artists. Both programmes support 11–18-year-olds, many of whom have faced adversity or need additional help accessing creative opportunities. The design had to feel warm and welcoming while staying true to The Lowry’s visual identity.
Working from supplied copy, I split the content across a double-sided A5 flyer — one side dedicated to each programme. I refined the layouts for clarity and accessibility, using a strong visual hierarchy, friendly typography, and a youth-friendly colour palette. The design was prepared for both print and digital formats, ensuring versatility across channels.
A bold, professionally finished flyer printed on 170gsm silk stock. Each side had its own tailored look while maintaining brand consistency. The result was a clear, inviting communication tool that could be handed out in person or shared digitally.
